A relaxing morning in Vienna so far with breakfast in Kents an excellent Turkish restaurant. Lovely cheese and olives and the best bread I have had since Spain.
A nice quote for the day from Bertrand Russell:
“Uncertainty, in the presence of vivid hopes and fears is painful, but must be endured if we wish to live without the support of comforting fairy tales.”

VIENNA is our next city break with the quiz crowd next year-let us know where the 60+ age groups should visit=I don’t think our itinerary will be quite the same as yours!!!maybe the bread and coffee but probably not the hostel and night clubs!Sorry about the art work you let slip-Paul and Dad did the same with Chateau Margaux, could have bought for £64 per case and did not, sold about 5years ago for £4500.aaaaagh…….xxxxx

good to see dr freud’s joint but better to catch the collection of Klimts whilst in Vienna. the austrians nicked most of them from the Nazis after the war. Finally forced by american court to give them back to original owners so you are too late to see them all but still plenty in the castle museum. ont leave without seeing them!
