As the world renowned traveller, philosopher and bad-ass gangster Vincent Vega said “It’s the little differences. I mean, they got the same [things] over there that we got here, but it’s just – it’s just there it’s a little different”.
He is right of course, things are just that little bit different. We popped into Circle K on the way

"Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K" extra points for naming the fiilm that comes from
back from a bar to get some more beer and when we got there they had run out of small change. They resolved this problem by popping over to the sweet section of Circle K and finding a local version of werthers original. They then provide your small change in hard toffees. I am still a little unclear on the exact exchange rate for Indonesian Rupiah vs Werthers Original but I think we got to a good deal.

Glad you had a lovely time despite the weather. We are very hot and sunny here. We are back in the beautiful Gili Islands, although this time we are staying on Gili Air rather than the party island of Gili Trawangan. Might say something about our age. Or rather, we want to keep our memories of how it was ten years ago sacred. Apparently now Trawangan even has an Irish bar on it; something I can not bring myself to go and see. Lots of love to Amelie and Dad xxxx
