So the most taxing travel week of our two years away continues… Our flight out of NYC to Heathrow is cancelled due to the snow in London. Because we’re flying standby on Will’s mum’s tickets it could be a little while until we get onto a flight. Hmmmmm… We will go to the airport this afternoon and see what the score is. We can’t get through on the phones to BA at the moment.
We might not be home for Christmas after all. But we’ll try everything we can to get there…!!!
Meanwhile we’re off to brunch to enjoy (maybe, hopefully, please, please, although I do love you NYC, I do just want to go home now…) our last few hours of NYC.

Sorry to hear about the flight problems.
We are performing sun dances every hour to try and get a thaw going for you.
No luck so far, but I look jolly fetching in my animal skins and the improvised igloo sweat lodge is nice and warm.
Stay safe and make the most of extra NY time (are you able to leave the airport or stuck there in case something comes up last minute?)

A distressing picture you paint!!
We are listed for a flight at 08:55 this morning (in about 2 hours time) but waiting to see if we get on, and whether the flight takes off. If we can’t get on that we will need to hang around in the airport until we can get on something… Fingers firmly crossed.
Still hoping to make it to your christmas eve dinner!!!
