Wrapped up warm in the UK snow

The purpose of this site is to capture vague ramblings as we wander round the world looking for interesting stuff to do.  The planned trip has variously been described as a long holday, cliched travelling, a pilgrimage, becoming a crusty hippy couple, avoiding having kids for a bit longer, irresponsible, silly, good, nice, smart and ridiculous.

We are William and Jo Morey an early thirties married couple wandering about a bit and embracing our somewhat early mid life crisis.  We have hit that stage where you end up thinking ‘is this it?’.  We have relatively successful careers, a house, a cat, a flat screen TV, an Audi, too many books and other trappings of a middle class existence.  The plan is to flee this recession malarkey and let it blow over while we have a look around at stuff before coming back to fully embrace a middle class existence, have a couple of kids, contribute wisely to our pension schemes and sooner or later, ideally later of course, die of old age in a comfy armchair with a G&T in hand.
